2. Visiting this website
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores data in a log file: the shortened IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, the referring page and information about your browser and operating system.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log data is deleted after seven days at the latest.
The hosting provider is ALL-INKL.COM, Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
3. No cookies, no external resources
This website sets no cookies requiring consent. Fonts, images and scripts are loaded exclusively from its own server. No Google Fonts, content delivery networks, social media services or advertising networks are integrated.
4. Audience measurement with Matomo
For statistical evaluation of usage I use Matomo, analytics software operated on my own server. No data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set. The IP address is shortened before storage, so that it cannot be attributed to you. Your browser's “Do Not Track” setting is respected.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the needs-based design of the website. You may object to the evaluation at any time, informally by e-mail or by activating “Do Not Track” in your browser.
5. Map display
A Google Maps map can be displayed on the contact page. It is loaded only after you have expressly clicked on it. Only then is your IP address transmitted to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and possibly also to the United States. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by clicking and may withdraw at any time with effect for the future by reloading the page and not activating the map again. Without that click no transmission takes place.
6. Getting in touch
If you contact me by e-mail or telephone, I process the data you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The contact form collects your name, e-mail address, optionally your telephone number, whether you write as an individual or a business, and the subject and text of your message. Transmission is encrypted and goes to this firm's own server; no third-party provider is involved and no cookies are set. The details are forwarded to my office e-mail address and stored there. You may withdraw your consent to the processing at any time with effect for the future. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply; if the enquiry leads to an engagement, section 8 applies.
Please note that unencrypted e-mail is not fully protected against being read by third parties in transit. For confidential content we will agree a secure route of transmission.
7. Appointment booking
For arranging appointments I use the appointment scheduling function of Google Workspace, operated by Google Ireland Limited. When you open the booking link you leave this website and Google's privacy policy applies. I process the data you enter there in order to hold the appointment, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. A data processing agreement with Google is in place.
8. Client data
If an engagement comes about, I process personal data to perform the lawyer's contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and to comply with legal obligations under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Such data is additionally subject to legal professional secrecy under section 43a(2) BRAO and section 203 of the German Criminal Code. Under section 50 BRAO, files are kept for six years after the end of the calendar year in which the engagement ended; commercial and tax retention periods remain unaffected.
9. Your rights
- Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
